  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with US President-elect Joe Biden on Tuesday. This was the first direct interaction between the two world leaders since Biden and his running mate, Indian-origin Kamala Harris, secured a Electoral College majority to win the presidency of the US. PM Modi tweeted, “Spoke to US President-elect @JoeBiden on phone to congratulate him.
