Six Pakistani soldiers were killed in North Waziristan tribal district on Saturday, sources said.

The killings took place after terrorists opened fire on the armed forces from across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, sources added.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR, the incident took place when soldiers were on regular patrolling duty near Gurbaz area of North Waziristan tribal district.

The name of the deceased soldiers include Havaldar Khalid, Sepoy Naveed, Sepoy Bachal, Sepoy Ali Raza, Sepoy M Babar, Sepoy Ahsan, the ISPR said.
